Urban Property Income Gap Widens, Tax Burden Fails to Close Divide.
The study looked at how property income is distributed among different income groups in urban China. They used the Lorenz Curve and Geni Coefficient to analyze this. The researchers found that the property income gap between urban residents is getting bigger, with high-income groups getting a larger share of income. They also found that the tax burden on property income is not very effective in reducing this income gap. Adjusting tax policies on property income could help narrow this gap.
