Uganda's Land Tenure Reforms Reshape Property Rights, Impacting Economic Growth
Land is crucial for life on Earth, and how land is owned and managed affects the well-being of individuals and the economy of a country. In Uganda, the way land ownership has changed over time has had a big impact on people's lives. The British tried to introduce a new way of owning land in Uganda, but it didn't work out as planned. Different communities had different ideas about how land should be owned. This study looks at the history of land ownership in Uganda and how it has evolved over time. The goal is to understand how property rights and land ownership have changed in Uganda.
