The article discusses the opportunities and challenges in developing competitive sports in China by studying the world competitive sports situation in the past 6 Olympic Games. The main goals are to establish an industrialized sports training system, improve scientific training, educate coaches, athletes, and managers, and find talented athletes from other sports.
