Environment-friendly dredging with geotextile tubes was successfully used to remove and reduce sediment in Hangu Sewage Reservoir. The process involved designing the dredging method, setting up the dewatering site, choosing the right geotextile tubes, filling them, and adding a flocculant. The study showed that this method can effectively remove sediment from lakes and reservoirs, paving the way for its wider use in the future.
