Mechanical deep application of slow-release fertilizer can improve rice quality and nutrient absorption. The study used two types of rice and found that applying fertilizer deeply can increase milled rice rate, amylose and protein content, while reducing chalky rice rate. The amount of fertilizer used affected the results, with a rate of 1,200 kg/hm2 showing the best outcomes. Overall, this method can help in achieving high-quality rice and better nutrient absorption and utilization.
