A new method was developed to calculate housing prices in Baoding by focusing on different neighborhood types. By using a sub-market approach, researchers were able to create a more accurate housing price index that accounts for variations in housing quality. This approach helps to remove the influence of housing quality on price changes, providing a clearer picture of how housing prices are changing over time in different areas of Baoding.
