Population pressure in China was analyzed using spatial data mining techniques. The study found that population pressure decreases from west to east in China. There is a clustering pattern in the distribution of population pressure, with some areas showing low-low spatial correlation and others showing high-high spatial correlation. This spatial distribution pattern should be considered by government decision-makers.
