The researchers conducted an experiment to improve gas drainage in coal mining faces. They found that using deep drainage boreholes spaced 1.5m apart was more effective than spacing them 2.5m apart. Additionally, changing from parallel to inclined boreholes increased drainage concentration by 0.32 times, resulting in better gas drainage.
