Paper Summary

The study measured and analyzed soil density in farmland in a dry area in Pingluo county, Ningxia. Results showed that soil density varied from 1.079 to 1.612 g/cm3, with an average of 1.355 g/cm3. Density decreased from west to east and had a north-south pattern. Soil texture and land use affected density variation.
