A new type of certificate called MixCert has been developed to combine public key certificates and attribute certificates. This new certificate allows for the addition of attributes to identity certificates without the need for separate attribute certificates. By introducing a new revocation mechanism and defining a new attribute class called NewPKI attribute, MixCert simplifies the process of uniting different types of certificates. This innovation can be very useful in various scenarios where attribute information needs to be included in identity certificates.
