The study tested slow release fertilizer on potatoes in Northwest Guizhou Province. Results showed that using this fertilizer led to higher economic value, quantity, and marketability compared to regular and formulated fertilizers. Applying 581 kg/667 m2 of slow release fertilizer increased potato yield and economic benefits significantly. Using 50 kg/667 m2 of slow release fertilizer resulted in a 581 kg/667m2 increase in yield and a net income increase of 797 Yuan/667 m2.
