The study looked at how intellectual capital affects the financial performance of Chinese listed companies. They found that human capital and efficient use of physical assets can improve financial performance. However, they did not find evidence that the structure of a company's capital has a positive impact on financial performance. The study suggests that future research should focus on this topic.
