The UF membrane device effectively removes turbidity from surface water in rural areas, with over 90% removal rate and effluent turbidity below 0.5 NTU. The CODMn levels in the treated water range from 0.98 to 1.28 mg/L, and no bacteria were detected in the membrane effluent. This technology is efficient, cost-effective, and has the potential for widespread use in providing safe water supply to rural communities.
