Adding straw and bacterium reduces nitrogen loss in pig dung compost.
The study looked at how adding straw and bacteria to pig manure compost can help reduce the loss of nitrogen. Results showed that adding straw and bacteria decreased the loss of total nitrogen and organic nitrogen during composting. In complex composting with manure, straw, and bacteria, the loss was lower compared to simple manure composting.
