Optimal management boosts super high-yield soybean performance and crop productivity.
The study compared two soybean cultivars under different fertilizer levels and planting densities to see how they performed. The super high-yield cultivar Liaodou 14 had stable plant height and more branches with higher fertilizer levels. It also maintained a high leaf area index (LAI) in the late growth stage. Yield varied with planting density but not with fertilizer levels. The super high-yield soybean Liaodou 14 performed better with optimal management.
