Microorganism agents boost chicken manure composting, accelerating maturity and nitrogen content.
The study looked at how adding different microorganisms to chicken manure affected the composting process. They found that using these microorganisms helped raise the temperature early on, improved seed germination, sped up dehydration, and made the compost mature faster. Composts with microorganisms were 5-14℃ warmer at the start and matured about 5 days sooner. Nitrogen levels in the compost with microorganisms were also higher, with some increasing by up to 16.8%. Overall, microorganism agents No.2, No.3, and No.4 were the most effective.
