New study reveals prime reservoir facies in Hailar Basin sedimentary formation.
The study examined sedimentary facies in the south of Urxun sag, identifying lacustrine and delta facies. Shallow and deep lake subfacies were found in the lacustrine facies, while delta plain and delta front subfacies were identified in the delta facies. Sand bodies, distributary channels, underwater distributary channels, and mouth bars were the most developed features, serving as favorable reservoir facies in the region.
