The study looked at how runoff erosion power can help predict soil erosion and sediment yield on hillslopes during rainstorms. By analyzing data from different runoff plots, researchers found that runoff erosion power is closely related to erosion modulus on hillslopes. This means that runoff erosion power can be a good indicator of the erosion power of a storm. The findings can help determine erosion factors on slopes in the loess plateau.
