The quality of Wei River water was assessed from 2004 to 2010 using a method called comprehensive identification index. Six key factors affecting the river's water quality were identified, and the assessment showed that the water quality of the Wei River has been getting worse during this period. This information can help in finding ways to reduce pollution in the river.
