The article presents a new method for assessing the reliability of high-quality electronic products with long lifetimes. Instead of relying on traditional methods that require failure data, the researchers propose using degradation data to evaluate reliability. They conducted a case study on a 24V/2A power supply board to test their method, which proved to be correct and effective for assessing the reliability of durable electronic equipment.
