Optimal transplanting time and irrigation volume boost tobacco growth in arid soil.
The study looked at how different irrigation amounts and transplanting times affect tobacco growth in dry soil. They found that planting tobacco in soil with 11.42% moisture and using 1.0 kg of water per plant with plastic cover can ensure a 97% survival rate. Tobacco transplanted after May 15 had a 6.5-day delay in flowering but showed better growth overall compared to tobacco transplanted before April 25.
