A new rice line called Xingcheng A was created by crossing different rice plants to produce high-quality grains. This new line was certified in 2007 and has good plant characteristics, stable male sterility, and high outcrossing rate. Xingcheng A also shows strong grain yield, good quality, and resistance to diseases and stress. It can be used as a parent in breeding programs to create high-quality hybrid rice.
