Rising temperatures in Hebei Province lead to decreased sunlight and evaporation.
The study analyzed climate changes in a coastal region of Hebei Province from 1966 to 2005. It found that temperatures are rising, with annual mean temperature, highest temperature, and lowest temperature all increasing significantly. Sunshine hours and evaporation are decreasing, while precipitation and wind speed changes are not significant. The study also discovered a negative correlation between temperature and sunlight hours/evaporation, and a positive correlation between sunlight hours and evaporation. The increase in temperature is not directly causing the decrease in sunlight hours and evaporation, with sunlight hours being the main factor affecting evaporation.
