Controlled release fertilizer boosts cotton yield and efficiency, revolutionizing agriculture.
Different fertilization models were tested on cotton to see how they affect plant growth and yield. The study found that controlled release fertilizer led to higher dry matter accumulation, nutrient absorption, and fertilizer use efficiency compared to common fertilizer. Although controlled release fertilizer did not significantly increase cotton yield, it provided better nutrition at later growth stages. This suggests that using controlled release fertilizer can improve fertilizer efficiency and nutrient uptake in cotton plants.
