New Study Reveals Ideal Zones for Oil-Gas Accumulation in Jurassic Reservoir
The Sangonghe formation reservoir in Shinan oilfield is mainly made up of braided stream delta deposits with lots of running water structures. These sediments are influenced by both structural and climate factors. The underwater distributary channels in this area are a good place for oil and gas to accumulate. The type of sediment in the reservoir affects how oil and water move through it, and also creates differences in the reservoir's characteristics.
