The study improved traditional weirs by combining broad crested weirs with labyrinth weirs, resulting in increased discharge capacity and cost savings. By analyzing test data, the researchers found that changing the weir height ratio, layout forms, broadening ratio, and width height ratio affected the head ratio and flow coefficient.
