New Study Reveals Seedlings Adapt to Seasonal Changes for Optimal Growth
The study looked at how Broussonetia papyrifera seedlings in a karst region do photosynthesis. They found that the seedlings' photosynthesis peaked at 11 am and 4 pm, with a dip at midday. The seedlings also had high photosynthesis and transpiration rates from April to September, but lower rates in November and December. This shows that Broussonetia papyrifera can adapt to different seasons during its growth.
