A new method for image segmentation was developed using an improved OTSU algorithm and genetic algorithm. This method helps to find the best threshold for dividing images into different parts more efficiently than traditional methods. By combining these two algorithms, the researchers were able to adjust parameters automatically and quickly find the optimal thresholds for image segmentation. The results showed that this new method is more stable, less time-consuming, and better suited for real-time image processing compared to existing techniques.
