The coal preparation plant at Xiaohegou faced issues with its coal slurry processing system. To tackle this, they made changes like adding concentration tools and switching from direct pressing to coal slurry flotation. They also used techniques like clean coal pressing and tailings filtration. By doing this, they created a closed water loop and washed coal with clean water in the plant. The changes cut medium usage by 8.94 kg per ton, boosted clean coal recovery by 15.40%, and hiked the plant's yearly profits by 33 million dollars.
