Soil acidity patterns reveal environmental disparities in Taihu Lake region.
Researchers used geostatistics and GIS to study soil acidity in the Taihu Lake Region. They found that soil pH varied across the area, with isotropy within 30km and anisotropy beyond that. The soil pH had a good spatial autocorrelation, extending up to 44km. The map showed higher pH in the north and lower pH in the south of the study area.
