The study compared two methods of raising tobacco seedlings in Panzhihua Sichuan Tobacco Area. The results showed that moist seedlings had higher quality than floating seedlings. Moist seedlings had better root development, root activity, and increased levels of certain enzymes and proteins. This led to quicker recovery after transplanting. Therefore, moist seedlings are more suitable for use in this area.
