Revolutionary Wetland Device Boosts Wastewater Purification Efficiency, Reducing Nitrogen Pollution
A study tested a small-scale wetland system to clean up water by controlling the water level. By adjusting the water level, the wetland effectively reduced organic matter and nitrogen in the water. In one phase, the water had good oxygen levels and removed a lot of pollutants. In another phase, the water had lower oxygen levels but still cleaned up the water well. Overall, the wetland system was successful in purifying wastewater, especially in removing nitrogen.
