The monitoring system for 500 kV Shuanglong Substation was upgraded to improve reliability and automation. The upgrade scheme involved gradually replacing the old system with a new one using a smooth transition method. Potential problems were analyzed, and solutions were implemented. The new system now runs smoothly and achieves its intended goal.
