Government policies to boost forest farmers' income in China.
The article analyzes factors affecting forest farmers' income in China by studying forest management behaviors in two regions. It found that income is influenced by the types of forest products chosen, elements in production, regional processing sector development, and government forest management systems. Recommendations include promoting non-wood forest products, restructuring the forestry sector, reforming logging and taxation systems, regulating land transfers, and supporting forest product processing enterprises to boost farmers' income.
