Tianjin's Main Rivers Eutrophicated, Posing Pollution Threat to Residents.
The study looked at the phosphorus levels in major rivers in Tianjin to see if they were becoming too nutrient-rich. They found that the Haihe River had the highest phosphorus content, followed by the Jinhe River and Yuhe River. All three rivers had phosphorus levels above the eutrophication standard, meaning they were polluted to different extents.
