New desalination technique turns shoal water into safe drinking water!
A test was done to turn salty shoal water into clean drinking water using a special method. The researchers found that when the shoal water had 1/10 of the salt in seawater, was warmer than 13℃, and needed 2.5kWh of power for each cubic meter of clean water made, the clean water had less than 200mg/L of salt, meeting national standards for safe drinking water.
