Canna indica and Acorus calamus floating beds were used to clean polluted water. The plants removed nitrogen, phosphorus, and organic matter from the water, making it safe to use. Canna indica was better at cleaning than Acorus calamus. The floating beds can be used to treat polluted water effectively.
