The water environment in the Yangtze River Basin impacts both the region's development and China's sustainability. To address this, a technical support system for comprehensive water environment management has been proposed. This system aims to protect water resources and tackle existing environmental issues in the basin. Key technical challenges have been identified, and solutions have been suggested to improve the overall water quality and ecosystem health in the area.
