New Matlab Model Revolutionizes Rainfall Spatial Interpolation for Macro Regions!
A Matlab program called MatOK was created to predict rainfall patterns in large areas. It uses a method called ordinary Kriging to estimate rainfall amounts at different locations. MatOK improves on other models by optimizing variogram parameters, calculating precipitation probabilities, and standardizing equations for better accuracy. The program was tested in the Ganjiang River Basin and showed promising results for predicting yearly, monthly, and daily rainfall patterns.
