Livestock greenhouses along desert highways face challenges from strong winds and cold winters. Researchers used new transparent and insulating materials called hollow plates to improve heat retention and light absorption. By evaluating the construction and design of these greenhouses, they found that using hollow plates significantly improved heat preservation. This innovation not only benefits areas like Gansu, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, and Ningxia, but also provides valuable insights for regions with harsh weather conditions.
