The study tested three types of bio-organic fertilizer on bamboo growth. The best fertilizer increased the number and weight of new bamboo in a given area. Compared to no fertilizer, using the best fertilizer increased the number of new bamboo plants by 32 and the total weight by 766.4 kg per 667 m2 in two years. The average height of new bamboo did not differ significantly between the fertilizers. Using 125 kg of the best fertilizer per 667 m2 increased the income from bamboo by 309.8 yuan in two years.
