Frozen Embryos Thaw to New Pregnancy Possibilities for Families
The study looked at factors affecting the survival of frozen-thawed embryos. They analyzed 1,255 cycles of embryo transfer and compared different groups based on age, fertilization types, cryopreservation methods, and storage time. Vitrification had higher embryo survival and pregnancy rates compared to programmed freezing. Age, fertilization types, and storage time didn't significantly impact embryo survival. Within three years, storage time didn't affect embryo survival.
