The study looked at the different types of plants in the Yukeng forest in Xianju, Zhejiang. They found that there are more types of trees than herbs, especially in the middle layer of the forest. The second layer of trees has the most variety, while the herb layer has the least. Overall, the diversity of plants varies between different parts of the forest.
