The researchers studied how a fast decomposition agent affects the breakdown of maize straw at room temperature. They tested different amounts of the agent and found that higher doses led to faster decomposition. The best results were seen with 8g of the agent, which increased the decomposition rate by 24.9% compared to using just water. After 20 days, the decomposition speed was at its peak, showing the most effective breakdown of the maize straw.
