Disorderly Rice Cultivation Boosts Yields, Revolutionizes Harvesting Efficiency.
The study compared different ways of growing rice plants and found that a type of rice with curved panicles produced higher yields than a type with erect panicles. They also discovered that disorderly distribution of plants led to higher yields compared to orderly distribution. The number of primary branches on the plants was positively related to the number and weight of grains produced, as was the number of secondary branches.
