Farmers' income in Ningbo has been increasing rapidly over the past 30 years, thanks to factors like institutional innovation, urban-rural coordination, and technological support. To double farmers' income by 2020, the government needs to focus on planning overall income growth, integrating urban and rural areas, adjusting industrial layout, creating non-agricultural jobs, and speeding up urbanization.
