Conservational tillage boosts soil enzyme activity, improves fertilization on sloping land.
The study looked at different ways of farming on sloping land and how they affect soil enzymes. They compared five methods: no tillage, minimum tillage, cross ridge, ridge tillage, and conventional plowing. The results showed that no tillage and minimum tillage had higher levels of certain enzymes compared to the other methods. These methods were also better for fertilizing the soil and protecting it from erosion. Overall, no tillage and minimum tillage were found to be the best options for farming on sloping land.
