Fenton Reagent Boosts Dyeing Wastewater Treatment Efficiency to 88.77%
Dyeing wastewater was treated using Fenton reagent to remove pollutants. By adjusting the dosage of Fenton reagent, reaction time, and initial pH, researchers found that higher dosages and longer reaction times led to better COD removal rates. The optimal conditions were 5 mL of reagent, 25 mL of water, and 30 minutes of reaction time, resulting in a COD removal rate of 88.77%. The most important factor for effectiveness was the reaction time, followed by the Fenton reagent dosage and initial pH. The COD removal rates were not significantly affected by changes in these factors during the treatment process.
