New Hope for Fertility: Sperm Injection Offers Second Chance at Conception
The study looked at using a technique called intracytoplasmic sperm injection when fertilization failed during in vitro fertilization cycles. They found that out of 127 eggs, 71 fertilized normally and 32 embryos were transferred to patients. Only one patient conceived after the embryo transfer. This method can be used when fertilization fails, but the chances of pregnancy are not very high.
