A study on maize production found that using a complex fertilizer with slow release can increase maize yield by 25.03 kg/667m2 compared to special maize fertilizer. The complex fertilizer improved maize growth and nutrient utilization rates, with N,P2O5, and K2O utilization increasing by 1.83%, 2.04%, and 2.39% on average. The best results were seen with 60 kg/667m2 of the complex fertilizer, leading to even higher nutrient utilization rates of 3.54%, 3.94%, and 4.63% for N, P2O5, and K2O, respectively.
